Grrrrrrr. My G35 has officially stalled twice while driving and now it hates restarting. Thrown VDC/SLIP lights as well. To top it off, I clear the code the car stalls immediately.

A new sensor on order as we speak. I cant access the area of the sensor without removing the throttle body, so I hope all is well with the harness.

It’s a common problem. Next will be the crank angle sensor

I have a phantom code on my exhaust cam sensor. I’ve replaced the sensor already but still whenever I give it enough gas to activate the VANOS my CEL comes on. The next time I start the car it’s gone. My next suspect is the sensor wire but it’s threaded all over and through the engine bay and I’m not looking forward to replacing it.

Timing chain or cam sprocket issue more likely than a bad wire
